Manager and guide Wally Coppini is a lifelong resident of the Eel River Valley. He grew up in a dairy and has worked in Humboldt County’s beef and timber industries. He has absorbed plenty of local lore from his 49 years in the area, and from his grandmother (now a healthy 103 years old). Guests who share his passion for the outdoors receive the benefit of Wally's knowledge as he takes you to his favorite places to hike, bike, photograph, watch whales, swim, golf, fish, hunt, or just comb the beach. Wally just loves being out and about in Humboldt County. He's also available to pick you up at the airport if you stay at the Barry Ranch or nearby. When not outdoors, Wally loves to cook. His meals get rave reviews from guests. Wally and Laurie are excited to be managing the Barry Ranch house and look forward to welcoming you.
